Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on campus-compass.com or using any Campus Compass service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified by email. Continued use after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account on Campus Compass. By registering, you represent and warrant that:

You are 18 years of age or older.

You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

The information you provide during registration is accurate and complete.

You will maintain the accuracy of your information and update it as necessary.

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

Keeping your login credentials confidential. Do not share your password with anyone.

All activity that occurs under your account.

Ensuring your account is not accessed by unauthorised persons.

Notifying us immediately at support@campus-compass.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Campus Compass is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to maintain the security of your credentials.

Subscriptions & Payments

Campus Compass offers subscription-based access to academic content.

Subscriptions are billed in advance for the selected plan period (1, 3, 6, or 12 months).

All prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise stated.

Payments are processed by DPO Pay (card), mobile payment, or via bank transfer, as selected at checkout.

A 7-day free trial is available for new accounts. You will not be charged during the trial.

Subscription fees are non-refundable after the 7-day refund window. See our Refund Policy for full details.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

Permitted Use

You may use Campus Compass solely for your own personal, non-commercial academic study. You agree not to:

Share your account credentials or allow another person to access your account.

Download, copy, reproduce, redistribute, or resell any course content.

Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape our platform.

Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our applications.

Use our platform in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law.

Intellectual Property

All content on Campus Compass — including videos, PDF notes, quizzes, essays, case studies, and software — is owned by or licensed to Campus Compass (Aleph-Tav Initiative) and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view content solely for your personal educational use during your active subscription period. No content may be downloaded (except where an explicit download feature is provided), shared, or used for any commercial purpose.

Device Restrictions

To protect against account sharing, Campus Compass limits access to a maximum of two (2) registered devices per account. Your device fingerprint (a one-way SHA-256 hash) is recorded when you log in from a new device.

If you reach the device limit, you must contact support at support@campus-compass.com to reset your registered devices. Attempting to circumvent device restrictions is a breach of these terms and may result in account suspension.

Two-Factor Authentication

Campus Compass requires two-factor authentication (2FA) for all logins. A one-time passcode (OTP) valid for 10 minutes is sent to your registered email address each time you sign in.

You are responsible for ensuring access to your registered email. If you lose access to your email, contact us at support@campus-compass.com for account recovery assistance.

Bulk Enrolments

Organisations, universities, and lecturers may enrol groups of students via our bulk enrolment feature. By submitting a bulk enrolment request, the submitting party:

Warrants that they have authority to enrol the individuals listed.

Accepts responsibility for ensuring each enrollee is informed of these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Agrees that new accounts created during bulk enrolment will receive a password-reset email and must set their own password before first login.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, without notice, if you:

Breach any provision of these Terms.

Use the platform in a way that harms other users or Campus Compass.

Engage in fraudulent activity or chargebacks without legitimate basis.

You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your access to all content will cease immediately. Refunds are subject to our Refund Policy.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Campus Compass content is provided for educational support and does not constitute professional academic advice. We do not guarantee that use of our platform will result in specific academic outcomes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Campus Compass (Aleph-Tav Initiative) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lusaka, Zambia.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
